w5's

The infamous w5's are an entirely unique addition to the "dice realm" of the ELotH: TES - Pen & Paper RPG. w5's are only useful to a single class, the Whyzard. A literal master of mystery, the Whyzard's techniques center around the ability to question any and all other players with absolutely no bounds on the questions asked, save one. When a whyzard activates any special abilities, 1 or more w5's are rolled to determine the type of question that must be asked. Also, rules have been put in place saying that whenever more than 1 die is to be rolled, the exact number of dice must be rolled all at once. Normally, this rule would seem sensible however, the typical w5 costs anywhere between $9.95 and $1337 and is highly regarded as another way for BFG to make more money.

The die itself is a typical 10-sided die with 5 unique face designations: Who, What, When, Where, and Why. Each designation is represented on exactly 2 faces to ensure equality among all interrogatives. Once a question format has been decided and the question has been asked, the information gathered can be used by the Whyzard however he or she pleases, presumably for blackmail. With an arsenal of blackmail waiting in the wings, the Whyzard is obviously the most powerful class in the PPRPG, making w5's all the more in demand and in turn, making BFG all the more money.
