Snub

A snub is a Shooked-Upon Rule--as opposed to a Shaken-Upon Rule or the downright silly House Rule--that is suitably feared by all petitioners, lawmakers, or award nominees. This consists of the committee who reviews the object/document/idea in question, spitting on said thing, and proceeding to verbally chew out its creator. In some instances, this verbal assault is accompanied by beating with short wooden rods.

The War Men have an indigenous form of snub known as Onk'hab'pa'rakag (literally, "thing soul kill"). In this method, they inscribe insults on very heavy clubs and beat the creator to a pulp rather than shouting the words as they assault him or her.

The snub has recently fallen out of use, but a group known as the World Snubber's Council has been reportedly conducting mass snubbings in several large cities.
