Back to Great War Men
Great High Bloodchieftain Shok'Gr'kLL the Aggressive
Also See: Higgerath. Siege of Arkleaf.
It is said that the most violent of all War Men is their Great High Bloodchieftain. He possesses a deep Bloodlustiness never before seen even in their brutal ranks. In their system of ascendancy theoretically any of their race can ascend to this feared position as the Bowl of Bloodlustiness is generally taken by force in a fit of blind passionate rage*, but all too often the next Bloodchieftain comes from the 'lustful Bloodrinkers clan.
Shok'Gr'kLL was no exception, rising through their ranks with a series of bloody, violent killings feeding his ever-growing 'lust until the day when he came face to face with M'ahg'D the Psychotic and took the Bowl for his own. So barbaric was he even by War Men's standards, his Chieftain name was an easy choice for a people with little imagination and even less vocabulary.
The Bowl of Bloodlustiness
The hollowed out skull of a long-forgotten enemy polished smooth with the use of ages, this grim chalice serves as both the baton of leadership and the ritual cup for the clan.
Bloodrinkers Clan
A passionate clan full of fury and rage who ritually drink the blood of their fallen foes. They are a fearsome sight in battle; their weapons adorned with the skulls and bones of their opponents, their necks and wrists covered with bracelets and necklaces of teeth and bone. Many quake in fear at their approach, mimicking the sounds of their war jewellery in gruesome irony.
Exploits
- As a child enjoys sucking any accidental cuts that may befall him. Or anyone around him for that matter
- Soon takes to increasing the number of "accidents" around his being by variously stabbing, cutting and slicing people to taste their blood
- Discovers that his penchant for blood is popular with the War Women during certain times of the month. Incidents of "accidental" cutting decrease as a result
- A particularly disastrous relationship later and his full Bloodlustiness is exposed forever
- Rampages night and day attacking anyone he meets without warning or provocation
- Inevitably kills the Great High Bloodchieftain in a fit of Bloodlustiness and drinks his blood from the Bowl
- More rampaging and drinking
- 17,930 to 17,933 - Kills several messengers before finally receiving his invite to the Siege of Arkleaf
- Kills some more people, drinks some more blood to prepare himself for battle
- 17,934 - Finally joins the Higgerath, which reaches a critical mass of sorts, unleashing Ten Years of Useless Bloodshed
* Okay okay, technically the Bowl is generally taken in a fit of Bloodlustiness, but that felt like entirely too much repetition of the word.
