Shiro draws his Blast of Airth card, setting up his nearly unbeatable Bladeslinger's Song-Blast of Airth-Cap of Refreshment combo. Throughout the episode, Shiro's internal monologue has him psyching himself up for his victory of Svald Vhadxi. Unfortunately, at the end of the episode, Shiro's buddy Makoto figures out what he is playing at and announces it loudly to everyone in the park. Svald plays Throne of Cream card, the only sure fire defense to Shiro's gambit. The episode ends with a disappointing Pillar Resolution, and a promise that the match will continue.
