Northern Crag

Capital City of The Kingdom of Yymp.

During the period of the Magic Sword Kings, almost all of the lands of The Kingdom of Yymp are shrouded in a heavy fog, through which no army can march, and from which few scouts return. Within this Mist Sea are scattered plateaus on which small settlements self govern due to their isolation. The western coast of the kingdom is fierce and desolate, the site of constant pirate raids and lawlessness. The craggy geography of large sections of the northern coast makes sending patrols to the southern shores impractical and patrols could not pass through the Mist Sea on the way to southern lands.

So as a result, the ruling stewards of Yymp primarily ruled the small northern plain and the single large city of Yymp known as Northern Crag.

After the clearing of the great southern mists, Northern Crag was reduced in importance, and after the lands largely became home to the Dim Elves, this city was almost entirely abandoned.
