Mudstick

Mudstick the proclaimed magical sword (later to be found neither to be a sword nor magical) owned by Governor Haiden of Portund (barely mentioned in Morwid's Guide to Barely Mentionable Out-of-the-Way Fiefdoms).

Mudstick is a literal stick. Covered in the finest mud harvested by the mud farmers of Portund. This mud does not hold any speck of Epicness in it though so the Mudstick can only be used to poke at stuff in a generally threatening manner.

None the less, the mud was of highest quality, and when "the stick" fell out of favor as a symbol of rulership in Portund it fell briefly from history, only to appear again wielded by Gchuuuuuuurt, King of the Mud Men.
