"Elemenstruation: A Magic Tale for Young Women" by Desidera Pontifax
Having exhausted many of the other avenues for expansion of the Elemenstor saga, in 2001 a license was extended to Nature Books Publishing of Tucson, Arizona to create a line of non-fiction works dealing with topics pertinent to the franchise's large pre-teen market segment. The result, written from the perspective of Desidera Pontifax, "Washerwoman and Elemenstor extraordinaire," sought to outline and explain "the tremendous and exhilerating elemental changes centering on the earthy core of your loins."
Owing to criticism from a multi-faith panel and having been banned in most school library systems, the book's sales never took off and it eventually faded into obscurity, except amongst the most thorough of collectors. The failure of the book is popularly credited with the pre-release cancellation of the accompanying first ever line of fully-collectible Gaming Tampons.
