2. Put it in a cage.

3. Gloat over the bell.

Startlingly, Elanfariestel the Easily Convinced did not originate this particular fad. He was merely convinced by Merm the Cruelish Prankster that it would not lower his dignity should he carry out his bell-berating in public.
