The American version of the Curse of the Guranbignoth. Imagine being angry. Imagine being really angry. Imagine being so angry that you could punch through steel walls and spray lasers through your eye sockets. Now imagine that all you can do to act is, in fact, stare at somebody really mean as if you could spray lasers out your eye sockets. Though you can't.

That is an accurate description of Scorn. Most who posess it die of Mega Strokes(tm), the preferred stroke of the moneyed elite.

It is an incommunicable disease held in Castle Oxford-Fillingsham-by-the-Guranbignoth, and is contracted by breathing in the accursed dust that lines the tomes held there.
