This page is a contributor profile.
It doesn't really have much do to with the rest of the wiki, other than be a place for this contributor to put their stuff.
But patkelly thinks that should be quite enough for you.

patkelly

Welcome to my Hall of Me.

What's my real name, you ask? What dark and terrible name hides behind the mysterious, impenitrable, inscrutable handle patkelly? ...Patrick Kelly. Bet'cha didn't see that one coming.

All links are things I take credit for, to a degree noted in the heading. Some things I've listed were bare-bones ideas that I fleshed out into a voluptuous, beautiful, sexy creation, and I've made an attempt to signify which of these were those. But if you think I credit myself too much and that you deserve recognition, STFU n00B ROFLROFLROFLROFL!!!! ...ahem, I'm sorry. Leave a note and I'll take it off here.

I am a member of the The Council of Elders.

(Why do I have more pageviews than most of my creations?)

Great (by my definition) Creations I'm Proud Of

Tides of Epic Conflict Saga

I contributed greatly to the Tides of Epic Conflict Saga, and by that I mean just about filled in the damn little thing myself. Well, I didn't create the name; all the characters but Lopae and Blacksmith Smithy Blackfinger existed. They just didn't have any history or flavor or information or pages; all that was known was the Lady Arisa was handmaiden to Lady Ambivilia and that Lord Hopebane poisoned people; the Pax Hyacinth existed, but The Hyacinth Emperor did not. I liked Hopebane's name, and so created a one-off item, Hopebane's Bane. Then I found the Armor of Fullchesthood and remembered how amusing it was when Hopebane had died staring at that, and from there we went. I then transcribed the entire ToECS plotline (save the Winds of the Ultracraggoths short story) and profiles of all relevant members (except Percy Mulligan). Lopae of Hopea is probably my favorite character I had the honor of filling in--so many of the bad fantasy books I've read have a busty character who clearly exists to sell copies of the book, but it took ELotH:TES to make it blatant. And Submissive Conqueror Lopae was a jab at all the unlicensed hentai that springs up left and right around geek-chic series.

The Culture of the War Men

And drawing back on what I pieced together from old CCG card text (and talking with a few friends who speak it fluently) I was able to reconstruct The War Men's Brutal, Guttural War-Tongue (Shokurung--thanks for naming it, Tim) and I have to say I like it. The grammar I especially like. And yes, that's me speaking War-Tongue in the sound clip. If anyone with a more brutal voice wants to make a go of it, you're more than welcome to; I don't have the pipes.

Plus, their religion, named Grishak'hiki. Yes, it does have a meaning in Shokurung, as does everything in Shokurung. Go to the main Shokurung page to figure them out if you're curious.

And their first (and currently only) song, Shokurung'a (My Axe).

I like the linguistic articles, as well. *^_^* Your article is cooler than anything Chomsky ever dreamed of writing. - Dryope
Your FUNNY! :D. Couldn't stop laughing at the edits you did for Advantage:Busty. -Dev
Hey, thanks, guys! -patkelly
It's been several days so I don't know if you got my e-mail, but regarding PVG you're in. BTW I loved the sword of great explosions and thanks for helping out on Rothgar's Titles. - Quizatzhaderac
Hey man, yeah, I got it. I just posted a reply here and then deleted it after a few days. Sorry. Email from now on. -patkelly
NP, for future notice if you want to contact me you can also just add a comment to my page on this or the PVG wiki. - Quizatzhaderac
Must second Dev. All your articles are quite excellent. The linguistic one is only my favorite because I'm a geek like that. - Dryope
Thank you. Personally, it's the one I'm proudest of, so it makes me happy a few other people like it too. -patkelly
Hi Pat, did you get my email with the PVG wiki password? We're moving to the next step and as soon as we get to the one after that we'll pick a specific plot. - Quizatzhaderac
I did indeed. -patkelly
Just so you know pat, the new picture you added to the front page is moving everything on the page below the sidebar (at least for 1024X768 screens). I'd recommend resizing it so it doesn't disturb the whole page.
That's odd. I have a 1024x768 (Macintosh running OSX using Firefox) and it didn't change any formatting. How much would I need to shrink it? ~pattkelly
I'd say a fifth. I'm not sure, but centering it might also be hurting it, though I tries changing the center tags to left and that alone wasn't enough to get it to fit in there with the sidebar.
