Ye Olde Comik Strypp Artyste

Strange men, who combine word and picture in an effort to humourize, satirize, and cauterize, the last of which is rarely discussed outside the Comik Strypp Artyste Guild. Their efforts usually come to naught, as the majority of the population of Battal is illiterate. Some of the funny pictures are quite popular, though.

Comik Strypp Artystes are often treated with mistrust and outright dislike by their fellow men. Most see their profession as inherently suspicious, and there are some who claim that it is a corrupting influence on children.

Because of these factors, Comik Strypp Artystes often take double-shifts as Beggars.
