The Tyrant of the Otherhood

The Tyrant came into being when the Dark Spirit Guamthrog merged with Vilefang Darkmantle, creating a being of Pure Shadow. Known at the time simply as the Tyrant, this dark entity led the Otherhood of the Tyrant. He was a sort of polar opposite reflection of the Magic Sword King who would someday rule the twelve realms. An early master of the primitive precursors of Dark Elemenstation, he created the Vile Automata and laid the groundwork for the eventual creation of Vampyres and Origami Golems.

Despite his best attempts at destruction of early human civilization, he was eventually defeated by the Brotherhood of the King, whose triumph over him made it possible both historically and metaphysically for the King Ronard line's rule to take place.

The sword of pure Unlight which he created out of his own essence was later known as Fell Blade, and reappeared to threaten all that was good when wielded by the evil warlord Vhadxi, rumored to be in some way a heir to the Tyrant himself.
