Tyr the Wurm

Familiar of Grendel Phoenixsong in the Wizbit coloring book. It is obvious that "Wurm" is actually a mispelling of "Wyrm", or perhaps another name for a Wyrm's baby.

Whatever the case, Tyr was without a doubt, the most adorable half-dragon, half-centipede creature one ever did see. Despite his acidic spit, the page where widdle Tyr tries on several pairs of sneakers is fondly remembered by children everywhere. Despite his lack of exposure and merchandise, Tyr became a cult favorite amongst fans. Many online groups have sold homemade Tyr plushies. Perhaps in response to this, Tyr merchandise is reportedly being produced for next winter.

Tyr makes an unexplained but welcome cameo appearence in The Grand Elemenstor of Magic. Plabin Arcanum and his companions find him on a shoestore with an unnamed Elemenstor who was his owner. His spit (or rather the spit of any Wyrm) was the ingredient of Fire required for the Magic Wand, and the most easily acquired ingredient in the whole book.
