The Verdant Anguish

The short story in which Verdant Anuerism is introduced. In this story by Tycho Brahe, Verdant is a Warrior Elemenstor who succeeds in collecting all 100 Swords of Sepathok. He is later thrown back through time and the swords scattered in The Magic Sword Kings Period. After being defeated by Sepathok, he tells him of the swords. Afterwards, Verdant is yanked through time period after time period, thrown into various forms and shapes, being present both during The Sundering and The Unsundering, among other major events in the history of the Battal, and takes major, though unknown, roles in them all.

Verdant appears again only in the sequel to this story, the clumsily-named Holy Crap How Do I Fix This, where virtually all of Verdant's deeds are erased through timesorc'ley.
