The Brotherhood of the Second Prophecy

A secret organization of which Hardforge the Kingsguard was the founding member. The history of this organization spans the entire history of Battal.

They say that story of this group is rather boring and tiresome. The conventional wisdom goes that the members found the secret organization fun the first five centuries then it degraded in a second-class gentlemans club. Rumors go on to state that it wasn't even that sucessful as the Second Prophecy didn't matter that much as prophecy making seemed to be a popular past time for the wealthy of Battal.

Hard facts indicate that the Club Of The Brotherhood of the Second Prophecy served the best alcohol to ever touch the lips, belly or intestines of men.

Those two are in Covenant of the Hardforge (the ElemenstorLance novel), as well as the rest of the early 2nd brotherhood. Personally, one of my favorite of the series. The book picks up after the second prophecy has been told, and never actually says what it was. I'm looking forward to the B'hood Octology to see if it's finally revealed.
They are saying that the true nature of the Brotherhood of the Second Prophecy will be revealed in the Brotherhood Octology. -Tim
