The All-Inclusionists

The All-Inclusionists are a rogue group within ELotH:TES fandom that believe that everything is canon. Books by Tycho Brahe are given no more weight than The Wizbits cartoons, the coloring books, or even fanfic. If two works contradict each other (as indeed they must), they believe that just represents extra-dimensional cross-time . . . something. If the Italian translation of Book 4 contradicts the German translation, they must both be exactly as true as the English version.

Nobody's ever been able to precisely articulate all the strained logic the All-Inclusionists go to to justify their beliefs, but there was a time when no discussion of canonicity could take place without some guy insisting that every single thing he'd ever read was canon.

This is particularly odd in the case of videogames, since every time a game is played, slightly different things happen.

Of course, even among crazy in-groups, there's extra-crazy super-infighting. In fact, there are people who call themselves Super-All-Inclusionists who insist that literally everything is ELotH:TES canon: The Song of the Sorcelator, The US Constitution, radio commercials for car insurance, Disney's Fantasia, shipping manifests for oranges, everything.

They stand at one end of a spectrum with Strict Constructionists on the other.

Although they might seem crazy, I've always enjoyed the All-Inclusionists, because the fanfic they write tends to create and solve continuity problems in roughly equal amounts. -Montykins
