The Stave of Procrastination

Also known as "The Stave of Staving it Off" this stave was created by an unnamed master whittler in the times of old. This object changes the way that those around the user percieves time. When there is a job that needs to be done immediately, the stave will slow the job-giver's perception of time, so that the user has time to finish watching a game of Manslaughtering before the job begins. To the job-giver, only a split second will have occured in the space of hours, giving the user whatever amount of time they need to prepare for the job.

Many a wife has spent the entire lifetime of their husband under the influence of this powerful staff. To them, they have only been married for a few hours, but, after asking their husband to do the dishes, they are put under the staff's spell, and spend the rest of their married years standing frozen in place until they become widows.
