A fairly common disease in Battal, Stabbed in Gut is almost always instantly and universally fatal.

The symptoms of Stabbed in Gut are odd; they involve a weapon (usually a dagger or sword) suddenly materializing half-way into a person's stomach. Other symptoms include bleeding and compulsively yelling "Oh, shit!" Stabbed in Gut occurs most often in taverns, back alleys, and places you have no business being.

Some medical specialists claim that Stabbed in Gut, rather than being a real disease, is actually a result of being literally stabbed in the gut. Others have argued that if this were the case, victims would mention seeing an assailant.
