Sir Bitey the Hairy

The only member of the Knights of the Flame who was not a human, Bitey was in actuality a Werewolf using a mental illusion to pass as human, as werewolves are wont to do.

Although speedy in battle, Bitey was often at a disadvantage due to the fact that although he appeared to be holding a blade, he could not actually do so due to his lack of opposable thumbs.

When Vilefang Darkmantle kidnapped several Knights of the Flame and turned them into Penumbral Shadow Hands, Sir Bitey was there to take back the news to the remaining Knights of the Flame. With the best Knights having been warped into warriors of darkness, Sir Bitey assumed leadership of the Knights - proving to be a competent and cunning tactician. He was greatly assisted in battle by his long-lost White Magickian half-sister, Maggie Wyndfang.

Cooperating with the Brotherhood of the King, the remaining Knights led by Sir Bitey were able to fell the Tyrant of Otherhood and the Otherhood of the Tyrant. However, Guamthrog, the entity posessing Vilefang Darkmantle fled into the FaeriWraithe Lands. Sir Bitey pursued Guamthrog, and delivered the finishing blow (er, bite) to the entity's jugular. Although at this point he was grieviously wounded by the Fell Blade, he was saved and returned to his sister by Deias Exmakina, the Ghost of a benevolent FaeriWraithe.

His (unused) equipment remains displayed at Night of Flame Castle: the Armor of the Whitewolf and the Sword of the Whitewolf, as a testament to his might in battle.
