Sigmund's Sword Of Compensation

Sigmund's Sword Of Compensation is a queer magical arrtifact, most likely forged in the early days of Battal by an unknown smith and possible Psychoanalyst Elemenstor.

Sigmund's Sword, as it is sometimes referenced to seems to have no apparant magical properties (Other than an extremely faint magical aura) until it is drawn from it's scabbard, and only then, when drawn by male warriors. What happens next, however, is the subject of much speculation.

Seemingly at random, the sword takes a shape, and magical properties that seem to be scaled to some inscrutable force. There seems to be no rhyme or reason for these changes, as some warriors have drawn it and received a massive, magically enchanted fire spitting sword that they could use to slay many dragons and caused many maidens to swoon, whilest others watched the sword turn into a tiny and nonmagical dagger.

It is when talking to the Women Folk of Battal (Both female warriors, and Elemenstors.) that the true purpose of Sigmund's Sword becomes clear.

Nervously and somewhat ashemedly recounting their encounters with some of the various wielders of the blade, many Women Folk have made it's true nature apparant: The blade is inversely scaled to the wielder's endowment. Or, Wang-Yang, to borrow a term from the Wang kingdom. Hence: A warrior who draws the sword and has it become gigantic and supermagical has nothing going on downstairs, if you know what I mean. In addition, a warrior who draws Sigmund's Sword and draws a tiny nonmagical knife needs no phallic sword symbol in order to be secure in his Wang-Yang.

Hence: Any Women Folk in the know, immediately begin to giggle as a seemingly mighty warrior draws a gigantic and ubermagical sword from his hip, likewise, it is said that the occasional woman in a crowd will swoon when she sees a warrior draw the seemingly useless tiny dagger from his scabbard. Note: this is not the magical effect of the sword, as the vast majority of folks react in the exact opposite way.

Just a couple folks are in the know.
