Shyoda Bog

The southern region of the Fetid Swamp of Zonardia is known as Shyoda Bog, and being the least objectionable part of the swamp is home to several small villages and nomadic residents. Few travel north into the particularly fetid areas of the swamps other than the array of Tribbits that make their home there and come to Shyoda to peddle their earthen wares and collected swamp detridus.

Many displaced people eek out a living as Fetid Swamp Shark fisherman in these marshy lands.

Aside from fishermen it is also a popular gathering place for merchants, who study the local amphibians and build horns and instruments based around their haunting and melodius croaking and bellowing.

There is a disproportionate population of mystical old hermits in the bog, each one trying to live a mysterious and solitary life while waiting for a promising young hero to stumble in so they can impart their years of wisdom upon him. Thus, when anyone under the age of 30 enters the bog for any reason at all, he gets to witness a hoarde of old and mysical men have a giantic brawl over who gets him.
