Back to Famous Weapons

Shokurung'otaghe'rakag'onk'rakag

"Behold, our weapon of salvation and the key to our victory, the mighty Shokurung'otaghe'rakag'onk'ra- "

- Sy'klo the Redeemer, just before he is killed in Book 8

A legendary axe of ill repute originally wielded by the Hierarch Kuluk'shokourung'tagag'onk, the Shokurung'otaghe'rakag'onk'rakag (From this point on, shortened to Shokurung'otaghe'onk'rakag^(2)) is famous for being virtually impossible to wield, pronounce, or even be around without encountering some form of injury. For centuries, it was at the forefront of all famous military losses in the realm. It wasn't until the Elemenstor General devised a cunning plan to give the Shokurung'otaghe'onk'rakag^(2) to the opposing army that it was actually used effectively.

The Shokurung'otaghe'onk'rakag^(2) is held in great esteem by the War Men. Legend has it that if any man could wield the mighty axe he would become a god. As noted above, no man has succeeded at the task.

The name of the axe is the war man word/concept roughly meaning "Axes don't kill people, war men kill people."

Replicas

To this day, multiple sources have tried to supply an accurate-scale replica of the Shokurung'otaghe'onk'rakag^(2), to little success. Common problems include a lack of materials being avaiable (As Uranium is difficult to procure and Moon-shire-rock does not YET exist) and difficulty in constructing the elements of the weapon that exist in fourth-dimensional space.

In celebration of the Wizbits 5th anniversary, Toy-R-Us offered a limited-edition toy that was supposedly meant to be the Shokurung'otaghe'onk'rakag^(2), but it was highly inaccurate, featuring a foam-rubber charging spike and a spider-man web-shooter suspiciously attacthed to the end.
