Selowts

According to canon, Selowts probably do not exist. They are supposedly a race of ghastly aquatic beasts, all completely lacking in any individualism, who live in a river called The Mainstream, which if it does exist, it exists in another plane from that of corporeal Battal. More likely, these creatures are personifications of collective myths of the Indie'Ahns, embodying for them all things that are undesirable or negative that they see within themselves and seek to eliminate. In the Indie'Ahn cosmology, the Selowts constantly wage a spiritual and ideological war against the fiercely individualistic people.

Historians suspect that Selowts may be the tale of Shushipodian sightnings by early nomadic Indie'Ahns, that slowly evolved into legends over constant re-tellings.

Non-canon

In the FurniPets website Selowts are often depicted as employing Bubbly Pop Music, an element invented for that web site, and is depicted as being a relatively destructive force.
