Schmelgabel

One of the four "houses" of the Institute Of Accoutermentia in Ezermethalon, founded by the buxom Elemenstor of Lightning, Proposterous Schmelgabel.

The anthropomorphic hat known as the Remaindering Hat decides the placement of the incoming students, and students with obvious custard stains on their clothing or deemed to require reinforced furniture are sent to Schmelgabel. This is not to say that the students are fat, but simply thought to be more appreciative of access to the Schmelgabel 24 hour all-you-can-eat buffet and more likely to understand the nuance of the house motto "Gravy Bindeth All".
