The Ring of Tones

The Ring of Tones is in fact a ring. It is incredibly flamboyant, though. First of all, it is incredibly shiny, even in the darkness, but not to the point of glowing so you can see. Secondly, it constantly emits an annoying ringing sound. If you ignore it, then it rings even higher in pitch until you start cursing at it. It will only stop ringing if you sit quietly and stroke with your right index finger without thinking or saying anything sarcastic. That would cause the ring to tighten around your finger rather painfully until it felt you were sincere again. Idiotically enough, this ring has a tendency to flock to those who enjoy stealth, to their chagrin. It was originally made and worn by Kersnargrall the Attention Seeking.
