Rakash's List of Arildi Superstitions & Favorable Dining Locations Across Battal

This popular book serves as an invaluable guide to the best dining locations on Battal, and the most comprehensive listing of the superstitions that comprise the Arildi belief system. The book includes numerous half-completed ("Limited") superstitions. The only way to find out the complete version of these superstitions is to buy the deluxe, leather-bound version of the book.

This book recieved the Knock on a White Cat ribbon from Fromlem's Guide.

Partial List of Supersitions

"If your third leg goes numb, one of your ancestors knew King Ronard."
"If your arm smells like the last thing you killed, you are destined for a good future."
"If you come across a pond, and the water heads to your left, someone you know has a short time to live."
"If you buy a book from a god, it will save or end your life."
"Excessive blinking means either good fortune or bad."
"Sometimes a bad omen is just a bad omen."
"If everyone you has ever loved drowns to death, you will have bad luck for a while."
"If a headless raven lands at your feet, you'll have great luck opening jars"
"If you repeat someone's name three times, they'll say 'what?'"
"To control someone's mind, get them to drink your Yorine naked in the middle of Quilpopolis. If you can do that, you can get them to do anything."

Partial List of Limited Superstitions

"If you blank while blanking, you shall always know wealth."
"Eat blank Troughberries an hour before dances or doom shall befall ye."
"A man named blank is going to sneak into your house with a knife and stab you when you least expect it unless you blank blank blank blank."

Sales of the full volume picked up after that last superstition was added. Interestingly, it cannot apply to the Arildi as they are a nomadic race. It is rumored that upon hearing that Rakash was collecting a list of superstitions in which others would probably put at least some stock, they began to circulate false superstitions, their falsenesses being known only to them.
