Project Miracle Yearicle

One of General Defense Dynamics's ELOTH:TES inspired ventures into hi-tech study. Project Miracle Yearicle was the code name granted to their experiments in zero-point energy, which is a fascinating subject that takes entirely too long to summarize beyond its effects: either nigh-unlimited energy or a brain-thrashing paradox.

The first attempt to extract zero-point energy (which requires zero kinetic movement, immensely hard to achieve) was by attempting to inject a subatomic particle with lots and lots of sedatives. The first attempt was helmed by, shall we say, the "second string" research group.

The second attempt had the researchers blaring depressing music at high volumes to depress subatomic particles into standing still, which was fairly counter-intuitive.

A final attempt involved attacking a wall with a hammer, which involved zero equation-fiddling beforehand and may have just been one of the mployees taking t o the wall with a hammer and later covering it up as an experiment into zero-point energy, but the particular employee was fairly trustworthy, and thus the incident was allowed to slide.

Needless to say Project Miracle Yearicle was not a great moment in the company's history.
