Pants of Random Invisibility

Another of Stefarina the Vile Temptress's wicked Furnilar Gestalts, the Pants of Random Invisibility were a nonlethal but wicked contrivance created to bring embarassment to her enemies. Simply, the Pants would randomly become transparent, revealing the wearer's undergarments. While not dangerous in themselves, they led to the violent deaths of numerous social lives.

Due to excessive amounts of timesorc'ley it is unclear if these were constructed in deliberate violation of Item Law 107 or if the law was drafted in response to them.

The Gestalt-ness of these pants is due to their associated belt, which detects the presence of invisibility-blocking magic and loosens itself when such magic is detected so that the wearer's undergarments will end up revealed anyway. Neither part is actually a Furniliar, but the term "Furniliar Gestalt" is applied to any hybrid Transchanting, not only that of furniliars.
