King Notatall Asmarty

During the era known as The Wandering Age, the Wang Kingdom rose to prominence and none of the old kings had sway. There were, none the less, decendants of the Ronard Dynasty active during this period, keeping the bloodline alive until this age of chaos ended and the monarchy could be restored. One of these so-called rough kings, the bold adventurers without a kingdom, travelling as rangers, rogue knights or sheriffs was Notatall Asmarty.

Notatall Asmarty, a decendant of the famed Bartholomeu Chairglued and one of the few rough kings whose name was recorded, was active in the northern regions of the expansive Wang controlled regions of the period. With his trusty Wank squire Shun Chen, he rode from village to village, spreading tales of the eventual return of the glory of the Magic Sword Kings, a kind of grass roots public relations campaign. His judgement often taking a back-seat to his boldness and valor, he was known to go to great lengths to attempt to prove that he was in fact of noble blood. Only Shun Chen was able to curb his otherwise quite self destructive willingness to do anything to win the trust or faith of the people. Often this involved vanquishing a warlord or a Dragon but could in fact be any task.

One famous tale tells of a time when Shun Chen had travelled south to purchase the increasingly scarce rare mint tea. As the story goes, the unguided Asmarty got into a battle of wits with a peasant. The details are unclear but when Shun returned he found that the king, who was battered, bruised, severely dehydrated and sleep deprived, had been charging relentlessly at a tree for 24 days straight, beating himself against it and yelling for it to "relent!"
