That the fabulous Moon-Pearls of Ovulum existed at all was considered as proof that a benevolent force was guiding the destiny of all living things with a kind and magnanimous hand. That they were eaten by a parrot during The Unsundering lent less credibility to this school of thought, although the Optimistic Tyrants of Yaar have long held that they will be returned at some point, maybe soon, more likely after The Ending Times, but hey, every cloud, right?
