A Moment of Clarity is that moment when you figure out that thing that's been niggling away at the back of your mind for what seems like years, but you really only started picking up on a few days ago. It's the moment you realize that you're girlfriend is cheating on you or that you're business is never going to pan out or that you're never going to become a unicorn, no matter how hard you wish for it.

What separates a Moment of Clarity from just run-of-the-mill figuring stuff out is that the person who experiences it is also filled with an uncontrollable urge to actually get up off his or her lazy butt and do something about it for once in their life.
