Merchanaries

An order of merchant-fighters briefly formed during the Sundering era. Fighting was seen as being "cooler" than just selling goods. Traveling with their wares and sword, these "merchanaries", as they came to be called, fought and sold for the highest bidder. On the battlefield, their marketing strategies were unmatched, and their hawking could be heard even above the tumult of war.

Being a merchanary quickly lost its romantic image once merchanaries began to actually be slain in these battles.
