McDonald's Happy Meal Toys

For a brief period (1998-1999) A series of Elemenstor children's meals was offered at participating McDonald's restaruants. The set came in see-through plastic bags and each featured a different Elemenstor in a dramatic pose along with a tiny single-colored Familiar or Furniliar. Unfortunately the familiars were the same in every package; they only differed in color. The model is poorly done and it is believed to be Bix the Endtable, it also had no poseable parts. The Elemenstors, however, had an action-button at the back of their shoulder, which when pressed flicked the Elemenstor's arm and wand. The wand would glow to life according to the element of that particular Elemenstor; ie. Fire = red, Water = Blue, Unlight = muddy brown etc. Included in the package was a pamphlet on Elemenstoring promising to show children some of their magical secrets. In reality, the pamphlet was a thinly veiled lesson on the four food groups. Unfortunately the toy range was recalled and destroyed when it was discovered that the wand snapped off easily after thirteen children choked to death. It was also discovered that the entire toy was painted in toxic lead paints and some particularly badly-made models caught fire in a highly-publicised incident at an orphanage.

There were eight in the series and a single, unopened bag can go for as high as 80$ U.S. on e-bay or the internet, although collectors are advised to seal them in an inert atmosphere to reduce the risk of combustion.
