Martha the Frigid

Mother of Theoric the Eversnide, who, incidentally, thought he was a wiseass.

It is rumoured that she never felt affection for another human being. This, of course, leads one to ask: how did she become pregnant with Theoric? Therefore, alternate meanings of the title "the Frigid" have been sought. Perhaps, some say, she was several degrees colder than most people. Perhaps she lived far to the North. Perhaps she turned down a roving Title Bestower.

Martha makes a brief appearance in the ElamenSTAR episode "The Moonlit Order and Chaos," wherein it is implied that Theoric is Wendel's bastard. While this would fit with Wendel's lecherous nature (and possibly lend insight into Martha's frigidness), it is never firmly established whether these implications are intended to incite hard feelings, or are in fact a revelation of Theoric's heritage.
