Mare Hogol (Land of Joy)

Mare Hogol is the “Land of Joy” hemisphere of Lanumon, separated from Mare Lusil by the the Rainbow River. It is characterized by broad deserts, treeless prairies, and hundreds of small lakes. The aggressive golden-skinned natives jealously guard their borders and have fractioned into many small nations, hunkered around oasis capitals. The long-standing rivalry between the peoples of Scarabia and Dijeyrdu is a popular subject for Sylveran historians, but Mare Hogol experiences at least a dozen border skirmishes at any given time.

Tourists attracted to the Land of the Floppity Bunnies get a nasty shock when they learn that it is, in fact, populated by ravenous undead. Still, they require persuasion to enter the Land of the Ravenous Undead, despite the assurances of the locals that it is filled with floppity bunnies of unparalleled cuteness. The towering conical monuments of Scarabia are also a popular draw, although it is recommended that visitors time their stay to coincide with the construction of a monument and its associated economic downturn. Scarabians flush with cash tend to be stabby.
