Beloved husband of Mau'de the Moistener. Owner of Blackshadowbeautystallionflamesilvermisttornadochestnutsea also known as Billy also known as TheMostBadassHorseEver. Defeater of Belchazar and a creator of the nineteen Ginormo. A powerful Wizard who is considered the archetype of Wizards.
Mardrangion has a very confusing past and not much is known about him. Each time he appears he is with someone or something new. During the Siege of Trembaloo his knowledge helped against Nhek'miggon'uil and he fought alongside his wife in an attempt to slay Lord Kinlo. He is rumored to have somehow killed hundreds during this Siege using Magniloquent palavercation--in and of itself a mind-numbingly Epic feat.
This is also where his wife would die, possibly again; as one of Harbinger Portent's Second Students, Mau'de herself is a being of remarkable power and immense knowledge. Though not immortal the same way unkillable beings like S'yrf'yl the Immortal are immortal, Mau'de possesses the ability to pass her memories from one incarnation to the next.
How many times Mau'de has done this is not known, but she is also directly responsible for Mardrangion's apparent immortality.
"Mardrangion! We thought you were dead!"
"Ah, but killing me would be a difficult task indeed. It was a wedding gift from my wife, actually; for so long as she lives, my own death is but a temporary inconvenience. I am usually awake within the hour."
"But... I thought Mau'de died as well..." the confused soldier replied.
"Indeed," said Mardrangion mournfully, "I was sorry to lose her again, as it will be years before her new vessel grows to maturity. Fortunately, though the mechanism differs, death is no more permanent for Mau'de than it is for me."

Mardrangion often appears with his black valet Boxcar Thurgood Brown. The Valet takes care of the horse and keeps the horse away from Mau'de as they don't really get along. Thurgood was hired by Mardrangion when Ricardo 'Quicky' Rodriguez burned off Mardrangion's eyebrows. He was not hired because the eyebrows were burnt off but instead because Mardrangion wanted to take some time off to teach Quicky a lesson.
After this time off was taken Mardrangion disappeared for many years. It is said that he later reappeared on the northern shores of Alfafanar. When he was discovered he claimed to be from "The Lost Continent." This led to Alfafanar rediscovering "the lost continent."
The current status of Mardrangion, Billy, Thurgood and Quicky are unknown.
Note:
Mardrangion is the only person to hold onto the The Rainwater Cloak, also known as the Cameo Cloak, for any extended period of time.
