Lochmarr's Petite Coin Purse
Lochmarr's Petite Coin Purse is the subject of a song in An Elemenstor Xmas: Magic Mistletoe, the first Wizbits Christmas special. It's sung by a group of street urchins and footstools as Lochmarr capers in the background:
Lochmarr's petite coin purse
Has a very, very, small coin.
It was ittier than a penny,
Bittier than the men he
Killed to take it home.
There's not much change inside there,
There's no room for quarters.
But Lochmarr doesn't mind much,
Because he knows where he can find such
Entertainments as to drive a man insane!
Nobody knows what it's good for.
No one knows why he carries it.
But one thing I can tell you,
Lochmarr would as soon kill you,
As let his purse out of his sight!
Oh, he loves his coin purse.
And he loves the sound
Of a million men dying
And a mother hen crying
As he breaks its neck!
At first, people assumed that it hadn't been translated very well, but it was soon pointed out that there was never a Japanese version to begin with.
