Item Law #195

Coolness of Names and Appearances Law

  1. Appearance and Names of Items must be appropriate to their coolness:
    1. Cool Items must have names and appearance that do not obviously betray their true power and function.
    2. Uncool Items will look new and shiny, and must have a proliferation of gems, buttons, or other appendages that do nothing whatsoever. If destroyed, a massive explosion must occur.
    3. Items that are just plain cheap or sucky will appear to be made out of hand-me-down parts of Uncool items. Destruction triggers a mediocre explosion.
  2. This law does not apply to items that affect the coolness of the wearer or other items, nor may it contradict any other item laws.
