Back to The Wizbits Cartoon
Lander and the Power of Rubian
The title under which The Wizbits Cartoon was aired on BBC 1 in the United Kingdom (starting from July 2000), as the American title conflicted with Wizbit, a BBC production from 1986.
Some have critized the title as being somewhat nonsensical, suggesting that perhaps the words were simply picked out of the opening title song by an executive who had never actually watched the show.
The only change to the series was in the opening credits, where any frames of animation featuring the words "The Wizbits" were replaced by a single still of the new title. The opening song remained intact, as did any mentions of the words "The Wizbits" during the actual show itself.
Discussion
Because of it barely being changed, I think it makes the changes insignificant. Anyone else agree? |
