Image Comics Presents: The Fires of Mount Windice

A special five-part miniseries produced by Image comics, and later collected as a graphic novel. The miniseries retells the story of Book 1, though it takes a few liberties:

• The main character, though professed to be an excellent Elemenstor, exclusively uses implausably gigantic guns throughout the series.

• There are, in fact, guns in the comic, which jars with canon on all levels.

• The dialogue has been replaced with a stream of swearing so constant that syntax is obliterated midway through the second issue. The torrent so unrelenting the swear words themselves lose all meaning not long after.

Recieved very well by fans of Image comics, the series was widely loathed by other ELOTH:TES fans and has been widely decried by Tycho Brahe, who--it should be noted--will burn any copy he sees with whatever materials he has on hand (including his personal flamethrower*, which he is rarely without), unthinking of whomever may be holding a copy, although he will isolate the graphic novels if they are anywhere near actual books of the Cycle.
