Ice Picke of Lesser Injury

Wielded by Bartholomeu Chairglued, one of the Magic Sword Kings, the Ice Picke of Lesser Injury is a magic sword that is a cross between an ice pick and a pike (except it's still a sword). The limitations of the weapon are readily apparent. First, the sharp pointy bit is shaped so as to dig through ice, and is unfortunately malleable when faced with armor, bone, wood, leather, or flesh. Secondly, the Ice Picke is designed to be wielded both as a pike and as an ice pick, but it is outfitted with a sword's handle and hilt, making it incredibly unwieldy no matter which method the bearer chooses to fight with it. Finally, assuming the bearer is lucky or exceedingly skilled, the Picke has been enchanted so that at best, it will inflict upon the opponent a lesser injury, such as a nasty but non-threatening laceration or a large bruise that doesn't go away for a while.

Bartholomeu Chairglued was contemptuous at best of his weapon, but could not forgoe it for something more practical, as Epicness and tradition demanded that all Magic Sword Kings wield a magic sword. Ultimately, he left the weapon lying just out of his reach when he sat upon the Perilous Seat. The faint blue glow the weapon emitted served to mock him as he sat affixed to the chair, although it is not clear why he found the glow to be mocking. Perhaps he was simply very hungry and not thinking straight.
