Humble Mice

Bogyn's Nastiness Rating: -21 (Harmless)

A sea-faring version of the Beutrafficade Mountain Mouse, this small amphibious mammal lives near the coasts of most of Battal, scavanging on washed up flotsam and jetsam from the sea. They float on OK, breathing in the salty ocean, and don't worrry even if things get too heavy. They are ideal pets, and just seeing them is considered good news for people who love bad news.

They get their name from their dull, modest, humble coloring, often described as being "mouse-colored".

They are popular familiars amongst the Indie'Ahns.

Western breeds absorb the sweet waters of that sea and are supposedly considered by the residents of The Kingdom of Yymp to be delicious when deep fried. The salty flavors of the eastern coastal Humble Mice are leveraged by roasted meat pies prepared in the Wang Kingdom. To most of the rest of Battal the culinary delights discussed in this paragraph would be considered extremely nasty.
