High Priestess of the Arkenvale

The elected leader of the Shamanic Priest Caste of Arkleaf, and Council Premier of the High Council of Arkleaf. The High Priestess is expected to be mighty in ability, great in wisdom, and pure of heart. Additionally, she is pretty much assumed to be the only one who will be doing any work at all on the council, so she must be a very shrewd administrator as well.

There are two promanent High Priestesses of the Arkenvale who play a role in the history of Battal. Phyllana was in the office during the Siege of Arkleaf, and gave her life to destroy the savage War Men which were camped at the gates to her city, even though it was too late to save her people.

The other is Myllisa, who began her rule during a golden age of peace for Arkleaf in the year 14,200. Her only appearance is in Sepathok's Desire of the ElemenstorLance series.
