Hidro Kobayashi

Hidro is one of the pair of the adventurers in Megawangokyo series, being the wandering samurai, Borner, tracker and Hunter, and - coincidentaly - a direct descendant of the Cardboard Tube Samurai, and a true heir to the Cardboard Tube and the emperor throne. Later in the series, he manifested supersayian-like powers, but he was later deprived of them.

He has travelled around Wang Kingdom for many years, and he made some friends in the city itself, like Buran Burly, the burly warrior, or Trollslayers band who give him and his friend accomodation while in the city. He fits Wangokyo better, and is generally more liked than his friend.

He is the avatar character of series artist Ken Nordris. He resembles, perhaps not coincidentally, a heavily caricatured and "thuroughly Wanged" version of Tycho Brahe.
