General Defense Dynamics

"Peace is our profession." -GDD Slogan

General Defense Dynamics is a leading defense contractor that employs approximately 171,900 people worldwide and has annual revenues exceeding $42 billion for the fiscal year 2004 (the last full year for which complete financial results are available). It has five main business segments and various smaller departments, often created as the result of acquisitions and core-business diversification, including Aerospace Systems, Land Combat Systems, Marine Systems, Information & Technology Systems, and C4I (Command-Control-Communication-Computing-Intelligence) Systems. Some of its most notable products include the F-27 Overlord next-generation air supremacy fighter, the Las Vegas-class ballistic nuclear submarine, the Starsky fast-deployment battle vehicle developed in concert with BOFH PLC (a leading British defense manufacturer), and the M2A52 Abrash main battle tank, which saw extensive use by the US Army during the most recent Iraq war. The head of the corporation is Humbert Gatsby Kane III.

GDD is connected to The Wizbits Cartoon, as it supplies cheap animation for agreeable prices through its animation division, UDI, and also have a hand in producing Merchandise and Collectibles based on the cycle and The Wizbits. They also have enough heft and funds to cover, monetarily, the many many many disasters and cataclysms associated with the series' various collectables, and have repeatedly saved the fiscal lives of the major producer of Wizbits gear, Multigame Corp. Their connection to The Wizbits is a result of negative public reaction to the Muhamed Memos, which suggested recalibrating landmines to the average weight of an eight-year-old Iraqi boy. As soon as The Wizbits premiered, the public immediately lost interest in stories of Iraqi children being blown to pieces by high-yield explosives, giddy with anticipation over the next Epic adventure of the four young elemenstors.
