Not a creature native to Battal persey, but rather a gigantic interstellar entity. They are ginormous condors made up of stars, created by Grabthar.

They do not reach sexual maturity until they are 500 years old, and may live for 5000 years or more. They roost in Red Dwarves, where the female lays one or two eggs that appear to be tiny moons. The moons hatch into Galaxy Snape chicks after about two years of incubation. The Galaxy Snape feeds on dying stars, planets, and remains of meteorites and goes wherever it damn well pleases.

Their droppings appear to be asteroids.

The Galaxy Snape is worshipped by the Cult of the Snape on Chrmkqzx.
