The Four Underdogs (Japanese)

Closely mirroring the characters from the Elemenstor Radio Dramas and The Elemenstor Cycle, in characterization, personal history, and consistency of the world of Battal, the Japanese imagining of the Four Underdogs took artistic license with some of the names of the main characters for the ElamenSTAR series.

  • Lander - the Earth Elemenstor and leader of the Underdogs
  • Zula - an Air Elemenstor and occasional love interest for Lander
  • Wendel - a hot temptered Fire Elemenstor. Ironically, "the cool one."
  • Phila - a Water Elemenstor. Timid and unsure of herself.
