Fireball
What Fire Sorcerer, Elemenstor, or whatever would be complete without the ability to utter a word and cast/strike a massive fireball at an enemy? Why, no fire elemenstor worth the name!
A fireball is a generic term for any spherical blast of flame launched by magic. Many Fire elemenstors, however, are annoyed or irritated by someone referring to a specific spell or gear as "fireball." The gear Hell Shryke is the most common target of misnaming, though there are others. Those who pay an Epic lack of attention may even refer to the strongest attack powers a fire elemenstor can wield as "fireball," which isn't helped by the ultimate fire attack spell and ultimate fire attack gear both emerging in the shape of a sphere.
A poem widely circulated by more uppipty fire elemenstors goes:
I should have known that stupid rat would muck it up again;
For when I sent my Shryke along with a ruthless hunter's spin
That bastard Jehl, will jaw aslack, did burble loud and clear
"Worry not, me mortal friends, a firey ball is here!"
With spite aflame and hate made strong, I fried him off the earth
To show him and his stupid friends their truest make and worth:
We as strikers of the gears know the titles that we strike
And if you call them "fireballs" we'll send ye on a hike.
