Fbeasts

Bogyn's Nastiness Rating: 7 (Not Very Nasty At All)

Creature Families: Magimal

Fbreasts are the product of an odd combination of Summoning and Culimancy. They were created during the time of the Magic Sword Kings, during which time royal feasts were very common. Given the frequency of feasts, many animals and gardens had to be kept around in order to provide an ample amount of food. Eventually, this concept was deemed inefficient, and the idea was proposed that a single creature could be created which would, when killed, be an entire feast all in one. After many experiments, failures, and attempts to come up with a clever way to combine the words "feast" and "beast," the Fbeast was born.

Physiology

Outwardly, Fbeasts resemble very large cows, only much fatter, yellow, and hairless. Their gait can look awkward at times, but when inspired a Fbeast can easily outrun a Man.

However, within these beasts lies an all-in-one, ready-to-make feast. Their muscles are large and taste of many different beasts. They contain many organs which serve absolutely no purpose save to be delicious. What organs they have which are not edible can be used as casing, broth flavor, or even table settings (if properly dried). Their bones, once dry, can be struck together like flint for a cooking fire and then subsequently ground into a mild but quite pleasent spice. Their blood tastes remarkably like red wine and can be used in many sauces, and even their sweat can be used as a very nice cooking oil.

Lifestyle

Fbeasts are omnivorous by nature. They are hungry at all times, and almost always on the hunt. The Fbeast's body regulates the food it eats depending on whether or not it needs anything. If the Fbeast truly needs nourishment, then the food is digested much like any other creature. However, if the Fbeast does not need nourishment, then the eaten food is sent to a special second stomach in which "yummy" bits of the food (meats, pulps, etc.) are separated from the "not yummy" bits (seeds, fur, stems). The "yummy" bits are then moved into one of several "casing" glands. These casing glands, when full, can be cooked and eaten as sausages.

However, it is this constant hunger which makes the Fbeast much more dangerous than intended. Fbeasts will attack humans as quickly as they will any other animal, and as such represent quite a danger to humans given their immense size, surprising speed, and constant hunger. For this reason, Fbeasts are usually kept in very controlled captivity. Some Fbeasts exist in the wild, however, and the hunting of them can occasionally provide a nice, impromptu feast for some peasent villiage (even though, for the most part, Fbeast hunters just end up as sausage).
