Creature Families: Elemental

Tiny Elemental creatures comprised of minuscule amounts of elemental energy that gather in places like under beds, in closets, or anywhere people don't clean. They generally appear as tiny little floating faces made out of wisps of elements.

Harmless and friendly individually, they can become aggressive if agitated and in large numbers. As such, some people use devices known as Emote Grenades - essentially canisters of compressed and annoyed Emotes that explode with violent elemental energy when jostled or thrown.

The franchise's introduction of Emotes is largely thought to have inspired the so-called "Emoticons" used popularly on the internet.
